01 — What we do

Six services, two tracks.

From automation and AI to hands-on engineering and independent advice. Every engagement starts with the KPIs we agree to move. Select a service for details.

Track A · Automation and AI

With generative AI, a first automation app takes days, not months. Making it a product a live network can rely on still takes the right data, guardrails, verification, rollback and a clear owner in operations.

01Automation and SON advisoryAutomation your engineers actually trust.

Centralised and distributed SON (C-SON and D-SON) across the full life cycle: application design, verification, deployment on live networks and continuous operations. Plus maturity assessments, use-case roadmaps and closed-loop governance, from first scripts to governed cloud platforms.

02SMO/RIC and rAppsFrom SON to SMO, without the hype.

Evaluate SMO and RIC platforms with someone who has sat on the buying side: requirements, vendor comparison and fit with your existing SON and OSS. Then design rApps for the Non-RT RIC, starting from use cases already proven as SON: data and API integration through the SMO, verification, and safe rollout alongside vendor SON and other rApps.

03AI for network engineersAI for the work your engineers actually do.

Hands-on guidance that turns everyday engineering tasks (KPI analysis, troubleshooting, parameter audits, reporting) into working AI workflows. I also help your engineers build automation apps with AI coding tools, then harden them for the live network: testing, guardrails, monitoring and a clear owner.

Track B · Network engineering

04RAN optimisation and planningFind what holds your network back, and fix it.

KPI analysis, parameter planning, capacity and congestion relief, and energy-saving strategies on Ericsson, Huawei and Nokia networks.

05Network transformationChange the network without breaking it.

Refarming, 2G and 3G switch-offs, vendor swaps, network sharing and 5G SA migration, planned and managed end to end.

06Vendor selection and due diligenceIndependent judgement when the stakes are high.

RFPs, solution comparison, supplier governance, and technical due diligence of network assets and managed-services deals.

03 — About

Yasser Elhamy

Founder, AIPowered Consultancy

I'm Yasser Elhamy, founder of AIPowered Consultancy. I've spent over 10 years making mobile networks perform better, at VodafoneZiggo and as an independent consultant for operators in Benelux, across Ericsson, Huawei and Nokia. I'm a PMP-certified project manager with MSc degrees from UCLouvain and UPC Barcelona. I've worked on network automation since 2015, designing, verifying, deploying and operating centralised and distributed SON on live networks, from the first SON applications to governed cloud platforms. Today I help operators, vendors and companies put automation and AI to work in a way their teams trust.

Networks
GSM, UMTS, LTE and IoT, 5G NR (TDD, DSS), shared RAN
Vendors and platforms
Ericsson (ENM), Nokia (NetAct), Huawei, Cisco SON, Nokia SON, O-RAN SMO/RIC vendor assessment
Data and cloud
Python, SQL, Power BI, QGIS, Actix, Microsoft Azure, Docker

04 — How it works

Small steps, measured results.

No big-bang promises. Each step delivers a result you can measure on your own KPIs before we agree the next one.

  1. Step 1

    First contact

A call about your challenge, or a role brief.

  2. Step 2

    Fit and scope

A fixed-scope assessment for projects; profile and interview for placements.

  3. Step 3

    Prove, then scale

Start small, measure on your KPIs, extend as confidence grows.

  4. Step 4

    Handover

Documentation, training and a clear owner, so your team runs it without me.

05 — Engagement

Ways to work together

Fixed-price assessment

A clear scope, a clear price and a written roadmap at the end. Available for automation maturity, SMO/RIC readiness and vendor due diligence.

Expert delivery

Hands-on RAN engineering or programme management, by the day or the month, remote or on-site.

Interim leadership

A part-time or interim head of automation or platform owner, while you build the team.

06 — FAQ

Common questions

How do you price your work?

Assessments are fixed-price, agreed before we start. Delivery work is priced by the day or the month. Every proposal sets out scope, outcomes and fees.

Why do AI and automation projects in RAN stall?

Rarely because of the technology. They usually stall on five things:

  • Vision: no clear business outcome or KPI the work is meant to move.
  • Ownership: no single owner accountable from pilot to daily operations.
  • Data: the right performance, configuration and alarm sources aren't connected, or aren't trusted.
  • Operations: automation sits outside the existing processes for change approval, monitoring, rollback and incident handling.
  • Confidence: engineers haven't seen it work safely on their own network.

I address all five from day one, starting small and scaling as trust grows.

With AI coding tools, can't our team build automation itself?

Yes, and it should. AI turns a working prototype into a matter of days. What it doesn't provide is what keeps an app safe on a live network: trusted data feeds, coordination with vendor SON and other rApps, staged rollout with engineer approval, monitoring, rollback, and an owner as the software and the network change. I help teams turn prototypes into products operations can rely on.

Do you work remotely or on-site?

Both. Most work runs remotely across Europe, with on-site days in Benelux and the UK when they add value.

How do you handle our network data?

Under NDA, on your systems wherever possible, and only for your engagement.

Are you tied to a vendor?

No. I've worked across Ericsson, Huawei and Nokia networks, and advice is vendor-neutral.

How do we contract you?

Business to business, through AIPowered Consultancy S.à r.l.-S, a Luxembourg company, with EU reverse-charge VAT. Agencies and integrators are welcome. The company holds professional indemnity insurance.
